LPCB Approved Database & Marking

Your assets will be registered on Kodit's LPS 1224 approved database. This is a secure database that holds details of each of your assets. Information can be regularly updated. An LPS database conforms to the Loss Prevention Certification Board's stringent approval procedures covering security of data, database premises and staff. It also includes ISO 9002 accreditation. To conform to LPCB approval, the asset marking must contain the database telephone number and a unique asset number.

The database will hold full details of each asset, the permanently marked details, serial number, model, cost, date of purchase, etc. This system is supported by major insurers and may qualify you for preferential insurance terms.

The price includes forms to update the information held and to notify us if any of your equipment is sold. If any of your registered equipment is stolen or lost you can notify us 365 days of the year 24 hours a day and the item will be recorded as stolen. This information is then nationally available to the police.

The marking system has been independently tested and approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board for quality of product and permanency under LPS 1225 and Selectamark has received approval for the widest range of marking products available on the market. Selectamark also holds the 'Secure By Design' licence.
